Respect and encourage the advice and support of our old boys and inactive membership. In turn, always look to encourage and develop the play of our newest members, both on and off the field. A diverse blend of active members, both young and old, will ensure the prosperity and survival of the Newport Rugby Football Club.

The fields at Fort Adams State Park are one of our greatest assets. It takes an entire club to protect that asset. It is the responsibility of every member to ensure that our fields are left immaculate, and that the rules of behavior are followed not only by visiting clubs, but also by our fellow members. Drinking at the fields when we have no license is forbidden.

Every member is to acknowledge that at any club sponsored event, their participation and behavior reflects directly upon the Newport Rugby Football Club. When traveling, either on tour or to away matched, each and every member is expected to enjoy themselves immensely and at the same time required to act appropriately. It is expected that all of our members recognize what is decent and acceptable behavior. However, when a member is advised to modify any offensive behavior, the are expected to act immediately. Failure to react to warnings will result in suspension.

While it is expected that our players protect and support their teammates, consistent and obvious malicious play is not tolerated.
