Parking - Please park in the lots designated for rugby parking as there are often other events taking place at Fort Adams. Please consider using the water taxi that travels from downtown Newport, across the harbor right to Fort Adams.

Alcohol - Participants can not bring any type of alcohol into Fort Adam's State Park. Reasonably priced beer will be available at a beer tent. DEM officials will be on site to enforce this rule. Violators are subject to fines and/ or arrest. Please do not jeopardize the long term success of this tournament by failing to follow this rule. Please be sure to let all of your members know that this policy will be enforced.

Bathrooms - Newport Rugby provides portable toilets at all three pitches for our 7’s tournament as well as near the main tents. It is expected that EVERYONE use these facilities. Public urination will not be tolerated or accepted under any circumstances. There are high-ranking military families living at Fort Adams. Respect should be shown to them with regards to this issue. 

Any person caught urinating in public will be asked to leave the park. If this person is an active player or coach participating in the tournament then the team will be disqualified from the tournament and the registration fee WILL NOT be refunded. This decision is not up for debate or negotiation.

Accommodations/Laundry - Rooms in the Newport Area are always scarce this time of year. As always, Newport Rugby Club encourages all tournament participants to make overnight accommodations as early as possible.
