Newport Rugby actively seeks overseas players to come to the United States for limited or long term, to help us in training and our performance on the field. WE can tailor a package to fit the applicant, but it can include airfare and Visa arrangements. Countries from who we have received players in the past include Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Tonga, and Argentina.

Newport Rugby also offers a semi-annual scholarship program, where we send one of our younger players overseas to gain valuable rugby experience. Ask any EC member about the program if you are interested.
