We are very excited to announce our partnership with none other than The Fastent Pub. Anyone who is familiar with Newport Rugby will already know that Fastent and Newport Rugby have a long standing relationship and you would be hard pressed to find yourself in there without bumping into someone from our club. The Fastnet is our "Cheers", a place to call home that just so happens to have cold beer, cocktails and delicious food and not to mention the fact that it is the best place to catch all the live rugby action! You will see our brand new home and away jerseys donning the Fastnet Logo front and center for all to see and we have just unveiled a framed jersey which is now hanging proudly on the wall in Fastnet (Shown right)
We look forward to continuing and growing our relationship with Fastnet so stop in and say hello to our friends over at the Fastnet!
The Fastnet Pub, named for the southernmost lighthouse in Ireland, overlooks Washington Square and Broadway. As a traditional Irish pub, The Fastnet serves as a reminder of the warmth and customs of the old world. Keep an eye out for the light and treat yourself to a drink.
They offer over 30 draft beers, live music, and more, such as; ping pong, pool, foosball, and darts! They also live stream rugby,sailing events, and soccer games to cheer on our favorite teams.
The Fastnet Pub has even starred in a few movies, recently appearing alongside Emma Stone and Joaquin Phoenix in Irrational Man. Come in for yourself to enjoy the atmosphere that brought Hollywood to our corner of Newport.
